M65 Travel: The Legal Bits

1. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. To keep our service fair for everyone, we apply the following:

  • More than 24 hours notice: Full refund / No charge.
  • 12–24 hours notice: 50% of the quoted fare is payable.
  • Less than 12 hours notice: 100% of the quoted fare is payable.
  • “No Show”: If the driver arrives and the customer does not appear within 15 minutes (without contact), the full fare is charged.

2. Customer Responsibilities

  • Luggage: It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us if they have more than 4 large suitcases. While we are an Estate service, safety laws prevent us from blocking the driver’s rear-view vision.
  • Conduct: We reserve the right to refuse travel to any person who is abusive or whose condition (due to alcohol or otherwise) poses a risk to the driver or the vehicle.
  • Soiling Charge: A minimum charge of £80 will be applied for any professional valeting required due to customer illness or negligence.

3. Our Responsibility (The Drivers)

  • Punctuality: While we strive to be 5 minutes early, M65 Travel cannot be held liable for delays caused by extreme traffic, road closures, or mechanical breakdown. We will always communicate delays immediately.
  • Route: The driver will take the most efficient route based on live GPS data unless a specific route is requested (and agreed upon) in advance.
  • Flight Tracking: We track your arrival. However, if your flight number changes, you must notify us as soon as possible.

4. Waiting Time Charges

  • Airport Pickups: The first 60 minutes of waiting (from the time the plane lands) is FREE. After 60 minutes, waiting is charged at £20 per hour (pro-rata).
  • Local Pickups: The first 10 minutes are free. Thereafter, a charge of £5 per 15 minutes may apply.

Privacy & Data Policy

How Shaun & Jan Protect Your Info

At M65 Travel, we take your privacy seriously. We only collect the information necessary to complete your journey safely and on time.

  • What we collect: Your name, phone number, pickup/drop-off addresses, and flight details.
  • How we use it: To contact you about your booking and to ensure the driver (Shaun) finds your location.
  • Sharing data: We never sell your data. Your information is only seen by Shaun and Jan for the purpose of your travel.
  • Data Retention: We only keep your booking details as long as necessary for tax and accounting purposes. You can request to have your contact details removed from our system at any time.
